For Irish Army designed version with Giat Industries TL2i turret armed with twin 7,62mm machine guns...M3 with TL2i turret was designed as a private venture by Panhard with first prototype completed in 1969 and first production vehicle in 1971. The automotive components are 95% identical to these of the Panhard AML series. The hull is made of all-welded steel with a driver seated in a front of vehicle. The basic m3 is fully amphibious without preparation and can carry as APC up to 10 men in addition of a crew of 2 or it can carry 1360 kg of cargo.
